Anthony Davis rushed for 301 yards and five touchdowns in a regular-season ending, 49-31, win at home over Minnesota. Davis nearly duplicated Billy Marek's 304-yard, five TD performance in a 49-14 win over the Golden Gophers on the same date in 1974.
November 22, 1999 THE CHAMP: Sophomore Erica Palmer won the individual national title at the 1999 NCAA Championship in Bloomington, Ind. Palmer won the 5-kilometer race in a time of 16:39.5, helping the Wisconsin women's squad to a fourth-place team finish.
November 22, 2008 NO GOAL: Jessie Vetter earned her 31st shutout to break the NCAA record for career shutouts as the women's hockey team defeated New Hampshire, 2-0.
November 23, 2009 THE BEST IN THE B1G: Running back John Clay was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and linebacker Chris Borland was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year.
