11 PHILLIP LAUX, SENIOR, WRESTLING "Unbroken. It is a great picture of the strength of the human will and the transforming power of God's love." AMANDA OLLINGER, SOPHOMORE, WOMEN'S BASKETBALL "The Steve Jobs biography, because it goes into detail about the sacrifices he made to create Apple and how he changed throughout his life. He talks a lot about how every- thing in his life was focused around Apple and how he cared more about the brand than his friends and family. As he grows older, that slowly changes. I find it interest- ing, because even someone as prestigious as Steve Jobs is imperfect and had to make sacrifices to reach his goals." GENO STONE, FRESHMAN, FOOTBALL "Maus, a novel by Art Spiegelman. His dad went through the Holocaust and he talks about the experiences he went through and the affect it had on him. It's good to know about our history and what happened in World War II." JERZY TWAROWSKI, SENIOR, MEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING "I enjoyed reading the Polish fantasy book series The Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski. The books have a great plot and they are deeply rooted in the Slavic culture, which creates a unique setting that is typically unseen in other fantasy books." NICHOLAS BAER, JUNIOR, MEN'S BASKETBALL "I really enjoy the Harry Potter series. I started reading them in eighth grade and I finished the series in three weeks or so. I have re-read the series multiple times. It is always some- thing that puts me in a good mood. Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it."
