WHEN
Paul Chaney was Iowa's last two-sport athlete, competing for the
football and track and field teams from 2007-10. The sprinter was
a three-year track letterwinner, ranking among the all-time top 10
in several events both indoors and outdoors, while also being a
three-year football letterwinner. In 2017-18, Iowa has another two-
sport Hawkeye in freshman Connor McCaffery, who is a member of
the Iowa men's basketball and baseball teams.
