BU has claimed five NCAA titles, tied for the most of any Eastern school. The Terriers last won a national championship in 2009 to add to their trophies from 1971, 1972, 1978 and 1995.

Jack Parker has become an institution at Boston University, having coached the Terriers in five different decades with over 875 career victories during his 39 seasons at the helm of the program. He ranks third all-time in wins and has led BU to three national titles.
