MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY Senior Maverick Darling's season debut was a big one, as he turned in a time of 23 minutes, 28 seconds to finish fifth in an absolutely loaded field of 45 teams at the fourth-annual Wisconsin adidas Invitational last Friday.
FOOTBALL
Senior RB Montee Ball rushed for a career-high 247 yards and scored three touchdowns in the Badgers' 38- 14 win over Purdue. Even more impressive is that Ball earned 194 of those yards after initial contact.
