In her 32nd season as head coach at Boston University Her 389 career victories rank sixth all- time amongst Division I coaches and 11th in college field hockey history Six-time America East Coach of the Year (1991, 1993, 1996, 1999, 2004, 2007) Two-time NFHCA Northeast Region Coach of the Year (2005, 2007) Has led BU to eight America East championships (1991, 1993, 1999, 2000, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009) and 12 regular-season conference crowns (1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1999, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011) 11 of her teams at BU have reached the NCAA tournament and the 1985 squad reached the NCAA final four The Terriers have finished the season ranked in the top 20 20 times in the last 27 years under Starr's guidance She has coached 32 NFHCA All-Americans, including six first-team selections, and 69 of her players have earned a combined 116 all-region accolades
