REMEMBER WHEN
Liz Tchou, a member of the 2012 Iowa Varsity Club Athletics Hall of Fame class, competed for the Iowa field hockey team from 1984-87. She guided the Hawkeyes to four NCAA tournament appearances, three NCAA Final Fours and a 1986 NCAA title. Tchou was a NFHCA first team All-American and the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year in 1987, a two-time Big Ten Medal of Honor recipient and a nominee for the Honda- Broderick Sports Award. Tchou competed for the U.S. National Team for seven years and capped off her career by playing in the 1996 Olympics.
