2012 FURMAN PALADINS p FOOTBALL The Players SCORING Jerodis WILLIAMS Prattville, Alabama 30 Prattville High School RB p 5-11 p 208 p Senior to become the first Paladin 1,000-yard rusher since 2003 (Hindley Brigham)...has a chance to post the program's first back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing campaigns since All-America Louis Ivory (2000 & '01)....finished second in the league in rushing...named first team All-SoCon in vot- ing by league media and second team by coaches...topped the 100-yard mark in five games, including a career high 175 yards versus Western Carolina (47-21 win)...ran for 142 yards and three touchdowns, including a 68-yard scoring sprint, in season opener against Coastal Carolina, earning SoCon Player of the Week honors...rambled for 155 yards and a pair of scores in a 26-21 win over FCS fifth-ranked Wofford — a performance that netted him his second SoCon Player of the Week scroll...finished his season with a 19-carry, 133-yard, two-touchdown performance against Florida...reeled off a career long 77-yard third quarter scoring run against the Gators...ran 28 times for 122 yards in a 16-6 win over The Citadel in Charleston...recipient of Furman's John Bagwell Offensive Back Award following the season...named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll. 2010 — Led Furman in both rushes (76), rushing yards (389), and rushing touchdowns (6)... ran for a season high 87 yards against Western Carolina (31-17 win)...tallied eight rushes for 59 yards and a score versus Colgate (45-15 win) in the season opener and had a seven-carry, 59-yard outing against Appalachian State that included a season best 33-yard run. 2009 — Stepped up with superb play as a true freshman, taking over the starting job after Mike Brown was sidelined in the preseason with injury...rushed for 483 yards and three touchdowns, ranking second on the squad in rushing...also caught 19 passes for 181 yards and a score...ran for a career high 98 yards in the Paladins' 58-21 season ending win over Wofford...reeled off a season best 40-yard as part of an 83-yard performance versus The Citadel...ran for a touchdown against Auburn and also caught four passes for 42 yards against the Tigers...recorded a 38-yard reception versus Chattanooga (38- 20 win) to set up a touchdown...named to the coaches All-Southern Conference Freshman Team following the season.
