WHEN
Kineke Alexander became the first University of Iowa female sprinter
to claim a national title when she won the 400-meter dash at the
2006 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Fayetteville,
Arkansas. Alexander was the fourth women's NCAA champion in
school history. She is shown competing in the 2008 NCAA Outdoor
Track & Field Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.
