The Huskies return 14 letterwinners highlighted by six position starters and four pitchers from a squad that went 42-17 a season ago. Playing primarily at first base last season, Courtney Gano returns for her senior year after driving home a team-best 59 RBI on a .324 batting average in 2015. Gano also led the team with 18 home runs, which tied for 34th in the NCAA. The West Covina, Calif. native earned NFCA All-Pacific Region third-team and second team All-Pac-12 for her efforts. Also returning is junior Ali Aguilar who fueled the offense with a .411 batting average on a team-high 78 hits en route to All-Pac-12 first team and NFCA All-Pacific Region first team accolades. She ended her sophomore season with a Pac-12 leading 23 doubles and also led the team with 66 runs scored, 23 doubles and a .795 slugging percentage. The shortstop was second on the team with 58 RBI and 16 home runs.
