The Ute co-captain, hit .348 for the Utes, collecting eight doubles, a pair of triples and seven home runs. She scored 47 runs last season and drove in 28. A staple at second base for the Utes, Flippen recorded a team-high 120 assists and was a part of 23 double plays. Heather Bowen is the only returnee in the outfield after an impressive freshman season. The Las Vegas native was named All-Pac-12 after start- ing 43 games, hitting .288 and slugging .407 for the Utes. Utah's 36 wins in 2015 rank tied for sixth most in school history and mark the most victories for a Utah team since recording 40 wins back in 2006. The 36 victories follow Utah's school record of 51 wins back in 1994, 44 victories (1985, 1997), 42 victories (2000), 41 victories (1982) and 40 victories (2006). The mark is tied with the 1998 squad that went 36-21.
