BY THE NUMBERS Jessie Gerry wrapped up her Badgers career with a school-record 77.78 scoring average. 34 MEN'S ROWING With wins over Dartmouth and Boston University on Saturday at Devil's Lake, the Badgers captured their seventh-straight Cochrane and Jablonic cups. Wisconsin has won the Cochrane Cup 34 times since it was intro- duced in 1961, and the Jablonic Cup 20 times since 1989. 27:34.64 MEN'S TRACK & FIELD Mohammed Ahmed all but assured him- self of a place in the 2012 Olympic Games with a UW school-record run of 27 minutes, 34.64 seconds — the No. 6 time in the world this year — in the 10,000 meters at the Pay- ton Jordan Cardinal Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif., on Sunday. 16 » VARSITY MAY 3, 2012 0.41 77.78 SOFTBALL Junior Whitney Massey has hit a school-record 19 doubles this season, and is averaging .41 doubles per game. The average is the second highest in the country. WOMEN'S GOLF Senior Jessie Gerry finished her Wisconsin career with a 77.78 career scoring average, the sixth-best mark in school history. Gerry also holds the Badgers' all-time records for lowest 18-hole score (66) and 36-hole score (137).
