STUDENT-ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT
Rowers at Boston University not only focus on developing their skill set in the water but also in the classroom and the community. Last year, three Terriers (Katrina Lyter, Lesley Pepin and Mia Serabian) received CRCA Scholar-Athlete honors for holding a cumulative GPA
of 3.5 or greater, while Alex Thornton was honored with the America East/College for Every Student (CFES) Service Award. The team spends much of its time volunteering with various organizations, including the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, the Angel Tree project and the Women Enduring Cancer Row (WeCanRow).
