THIS IS BU crew HEAD COACH TOM BOHRER Entering his fourth season at the helm, head coach Tom Bohrer brings a wealth of experience to the Terriers. Inducted into the National Rowing Hall of Fame in 2010, he earned a silver medal in both the 1988 Seoul Olympics and 1992 Barcelona Olympics, while also serving as team captain in 1992. PROGRAM ON THE RISE Since earning the Clayton Chapman Award for most improved team in the nation at the 2009 IRA Regatta, the Terriers have continued to make great strides on the national stage. After recording a perfect dual record in 2010, members of the freshman eight boat helped the varsity eight boat capture a school-record five cups last season. DEWOLFE BOATHOUSE Dedicated on October 23, 1999, the DeWolfe Boathouse is a first-class facility that serves as the crown jewel of the rowing program. It lays just below the finish line of all collegiate races on the Charles River and serves as the starting line for the annual two-day Head of the Charles Regatta. 2011-12 ROSTER Boston University recruits standout student-athletes from around the world to don the scarlet and white and has had several men compete in both the Olympics and the World Championships. The 2008 Beijing Olympics alone featured four Terriers, including three members WORLD CLASS from the 2006 varsity eight boat – Will Daly (USA), Jozef Klaasen (Netherlands) and Florian Mennigen (Germany). 2011-12 SCHEDULE LATEST NEWS
