5 THINGS TO WATCH THURSDAY • 6:30 PM • CNBC The road to the cup With the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, 10 former Badgers will be playing for one of the most coveted trophys in sports, including St. Louis' Brian Elliott and San Jose's Joe Pavelski and Brad Winchester. The Blues and Sharks square off in the first round in one of two opening-round matchups that features Badgers suiting up for both teams. SATURDAY • 4 / 6:30 PM • BTN / BTN2Go.com Taking the streak on the road The softball team has won eight straight games, tying a school record. UW will try to extend that mark this weekend with a three-game series at Illinois. The Badgers' streak continues after UW engineered a come- from-behind win in extra innings to take the first game of a doublehead- er on its way to a sweep of Western Illinois on Tuesday. SATURDAY • 6 PM • Universal Sports Network Going for gold on the world stage The United States women's hockey team — the top seed at the IIHF 2012 Women's World Championship — features four former and current Bad- gers. After scoring 29 goals in their three preliminary-round games, the Americans advanced to Friday's semifinal round. If they win, they'll play for the gold medal at 6 p.m. Saturday, live on Universal Sports. SATURDAY • 8:30 PM • BTN Reporting from spring football With just two weeks remaining in the football team's spring season, the Badgers are preparing for the Wisconsin Football Spring Game on April 28 and getting ready to defend their Big Ten championship. BTN's Big Ten Tonight will have a full report from around the conference as teams prepare for their spring games. MONDAY • 9 PM • ESPNU Camping with Gruden As QB Russell Wilson prepares for the NFL draft, he sits down to get a scouting report from former NFL head coach and current ESPN Monday Night Football analyst Jon Gruden.
