WHEN
The last me the University of Iowa football team started a season with seven
straight victories was 2009. The Hawkeyes finished 11-2 overall, including a
24-14 victory over Georgia Tech in the FedEx Orange Bowl. Iowa's defense
limited the Yellow Jackets to 155 yards and nine first downs, sending the
Hawkeyes to their first Bowl Championship Series victory in program history.
