Knight also ended her career as the school record- holder for career short-handed goals (8), game-winning goals (29) and power-play goals (37). Brooke Ammerman also posted a great season, albeit without much fan- fare. Ammerman became the fourth Badger in program history to reach 200 career points and, fittingly, ended her career as the program's fourth all- time point scorer with 215 points. Hilary Knight became UW's all-time points leader, overtaking Meghan Duggan with 262 points. Her 161 ca- reer goals also surpassed the school record for saves in a single sea- son, which stood at 801. Rigsby's 1044 saves this year also led the nation, and her season save percentage of .949 is the third-best in program history. She also tied the record for points in a sea- son by a goaltender with three assists. Brianna Decker made huge strides, posting her second 80-point season with 37 goals and 45 assists, and win- ning the Wisconsin's fourth Patty Ka- zmaier Memorial Award. A Badger has won the Patty Kaz in three of the last four years. Decker sits in fifth place on the Bad- gers' all-time points list with 187, just 75 points behind Knight. While the Badgers lose a lot of of- fense to graduation this year, so does the rest of the nation. The top seven scoring senior classes in the country, including UW, all posted more than 100 points this year. While what the upcoming year will bring for the Badgers is uncertain, don't expect UW to stop its winning ways anytime soon.
