This year's semifinal will be a rematch, as Wisconsin and Boston College also met in a semifinal last season as the No. 1 and No. 4-seeded teams. The only difference this year will be the squads themselves. Boston Col- lege graduated forward Kelli Stack and goaltender Molly Schaus, both of whom competed alongside UW alum Meghan Duggan with Team USA at the 2010 Olympic Games. In last year's semifinal against BC, the Badgers jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period. However, the Ea- gles came back with goals in the sec- ond and third periods to tie things at 2-2. The game remained tied until Brianna Decker scored in the final minute, advancing Wisconsin to the title game. If Wisconsin gets two wins this weekend, the Badgers will claim their fifth national championship and tie Minnesota Duluth for the most NCAA titles by a single program. The junior forward leads the nation in goals with 37 and is only three points shy of assuming the national lead in that category, as well.
