5 THINGS TO WATCH THURSDAY • 5 PM • BTN Border-battle, tournament style After a win over Illinois on Sunday, the women's basketball team will look to play spoiler at the Big Ten tournament. The Badgers earned the No. 9 seed in Indianapolis and will face eighth-seeded and Border Battle rival Minnesota. Every game of the first three days will air live on BTN, with Sunday's championship game set to air on ESPN2. THURSDAY • 6 PM • FSN Carrying the tradition in the pros The Minnesota Wild's visit to Montreal will feature four former Badgers facing off, with the Wild's Dany Heatley and Tom Gilbert taking on the Canadiens' Rene Bourque and Hobey Baker-winner Blake Geoffrion. It will also be Geoffrion's first home game after being traded to the team his great-grandfather, grandfather and father played for. SATURDAY • 7 PM • FSN Wisconsin Putting the border battle on ice The men's hockey team finishes the regular season at league-leading Minnesota. The Badgers are hoping to prevent the Golden Gophers from winning the WCHA while improving their place in the standings before the conference tournament begins next weekend. Saturday's game will air live on FSN Wisconsin, while Friday's will be tape-delayed. SUNDAY • NOON • BTN Saying goodbye to the Kohl Men's basketball closes the regular season with a Senior Day showdown against Illinois at the Kohl Center. After back-to-back wins over Ohio State and Minnesota, the Badgers host their final home game before be- ginning postseason play. Seniors Jordan Taylor and Rob Wilson will be honored after their final game at the Kohl Center. SUNDAY • 2 PM • BTN Wrestling with the best As the wrestling team heads to the Big Ten championships, it will face some of the country's best teams. Nine Big Ten teams are ranked in the top 25, led by No. 1 Minnesota and No. 2 Penn State. Saturday's action and Sunday's first session can be seen live on InsideBadgerSports.com, and Sunday's finals will be on BTN at 2 p.m. 18 » VARSITY MARCH 1, 2012
