Colorado Rockies farmhand, who put his professional base- ball career on hold to complete his final year of eligibility in football at Wisconsin. Toon, 23, was not only the son of legendary UW receiver Al Toon — a former No. 1 draft choice of the New York Jets and a three-time All-Pro — but he was coming off an injury- riddled junior year.
