GENERAL GENERAL FRESNO STATE LACROSSE COMPETITIVE FACILITIES FRESNO STATE AQUATICS CENTER The Fresno State Aquatics Center, constructed in 2011, is one of the premier aquatics venues within central California. The facility features a 50 meter by 25 yard competition pool with a moveable bulkhead, 1 meter and 3 meter diving platforms, a warming whirlpool for divers, a dryland practice area, a 44 foot by 60 foot pool for Kinesiology classes, in addition to offi ces and a conference room for the swimming staff. BEIDEN FIELD Fresno State's Pete Beiden Field is one of the premier college ballparks in the country and home to the 2008 College World Series Champion Bulldogs. The facility was built in 1966 and redesigned in 1983. It features 3,575 theater-style seats, a spacious press box, locker rooms, new restrooms and concession stands, offi ces for the coaching staff, indoor and outdoor batting cages and six mounds inside two bullpens. BULLDOG STADIUM Bulldog Stadium has established itself as one of the most diffi cult places to win for visiting teams. One of the premier stadiums in the Western Athletic Conference, Bulldog Stadium seats 41,031 fans and features 22 sky suites. In 2004, Bulldog Stadium was voted one of the 25 best college football stadiums by CBSSportsline.com. BULLDOG DIAMOND Regarded as one of the fi nest softball facilities in the country, Bulldog Diamond boasts a seating capacity of 3,288. The stadium features 1,688 permanent seat-back chairs that include 388 box seats, a beautiful grass berm that surrounds the outfi eld fence, sunken dugouts, lights, concessions stands, restrooms, practice areas, indoor and outdoor batting cages and one of the most spacious press boxes in all of college softball. FRESNO GOLF COURSES With the wide array of golf courses in close proximity to the Fresno State campus, Bulldog golfers have the opportunity to refi ne their skills at some of California's fi nest clubs. San Joaquin CC hosted the NCAA Championship fi nal, WAC Championships and U.S. Mid-Amateur; Sunnyside CC hosted the 1981 U.S. Junior Amateur and California State Junior Championship; and Fort Washington CC hosted two PGA Tour qualifi ers. The offi cial practice course is Riverbend Golf Club. WARMERDAM FIELD THE RICCHIUTI ACADEMIC CENTER The Ricchiuti Academic Center, benefi ting all student-athletes, provides study tables, tutorial and computer labs, plus offi ce suites for the academic advisors and compliance personnel. One of the newest additions to the Fresno State athletics complex, this facility is a cornerstone where student-athletes can be served and is a focal point of the new Student-Athlete Village, a part of Fresno State's master facility plan. SAVE MART CENTER The $100 million plus facility opened in November 2003 with a seating capacity of 15,596. It contains 32 private suites, a club level concourse, team locker rooms and athletics training facilities. With its size, scope, unique architectural features and state-of-the-art video, sound and telecom systems, the center will serve as the major provider of entertainment and home of Bulldog men's and women's basketball and volleyball. STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING CENTER The 10,000 square-foot weight room facility houses a host of free weights, as well as, a variety of modern fi tness equipment. The spacious room is equipped with 25,000 pounds of Olympic weights. A long list of Bulldog athletes have been voted as a National Strength and Conditioning Association All-Americans. The strength and conditioning program at Fresno State is ergonomically designed for the greatest effi ciency and safety. SPALDING G. WATHEN TENNIS CENTER The Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center is one of the premier facilities in the west and has become a key fi xture in the recent success of the Bulldog men's and women's tennis teams. Host to numerous NCAA and conference postseason tournaments, the Wathen Center boasts approximately 400 luxury chair-back seats atop the platform that face the complex's six main courts, making for easy viewing of all six courts. STUDENT HORSE CENTER The Student Horse Center, located on the Fresno State campus, is the site of all Fresno State equestrian home shows. The facility features 20 stalls in a main barn and an additional 20 in an adjacent pipe barn. All horse-related activities sponsored by the department are held at the horse center, which also features two adjacent large arenas and bleacher and burm seating for fans. Home to the men's and women's track and fi eld programs, Warmerdam Field has been playing host to Fresno State home meets since 1976. The nine-lane, 400-meter on- campus facility is named after Cornelius "Dutch" Warmerdam, the former Fresno State head coach and world record holder in the pole vault.
