's Golf Guide The 2011-12 North Carolina men's golf yearbook was designed by Helen Bu- chanan of the Tar Heel Monthly staff and written and edited by Lee Snyder, athletic communications administrative assistant, with assistance from student assistant Sara Walker and the athletic communica- tions staff. The front, inside front and back covers were designed by Dana Gelin. The pictures on the front, inside front and back covers, pictures of this year's team and the aerial photos of UNC Finley Golf Course and the Chapman Center on the front and back covers and inside the book were photographed by Jeff Camarati. The campus pictures on pages 24-26 were photographed by Dan Sears. Special thanks to UNC Printing for their assistance. Supporting UNC Men's Golf The University of North Carolina is proud of its long-standing rela- tionship with Nike, Inc. The two parties signed a new 10-year contract in May 2009 for Nike to continue as the exclusive supplier of athletic footwear, apparel and accessory products. Nike will provide the ath- letic department with shoes, uniforms, coaching gear, balls and other equipment. Nike also gave the University $2 million for the Chancel- lor's Academic Enhancement Fund to support faculty. This partnership has benefitted all 28 varsity sports and provided millions of dollars for 2011-12 UNC Men academics and student scholarships at the University.
