Allison Barwise was named Most Outstanding Field Performer at the 2011 America East Outdoor Championships after setting conference records in the high jump and heptathlon.
WORLD CLASS FACILITY The BU Track & Tennis Center is one of the best indoor facilities in the Northeast. It boasts one of the fastest tracks in the region, and it hosts many major competitions, including the America East Championships and the IC4A Championships.
SUCCESS AT EVERY LEVEL
BU athletes have fared well at every level of competition, with top-10 finishes at the NCAA Championships and America East Championships in recent years. The Terriers boasted the male and female Most Outstanding Track Performer at the 2011 AE Outdoor Championships, along with the female Most Outstanding Field Performer at that same event. BU has also sent six different athletes to the NCAA Championships in the last three
years. A trio of Terriers competed in the 2011 NCAA Outdoor Championships, while two BU athletes were at the 2011 NCAA Indoor Championships.
Tahari James competed at the 2008 NCAA Outdoor Championships, where she placed ninth to earn All- America status and qualify for the U.S. Olympic Trials.
At the 2011 AE Outdoor Championships, R.J. Page earned Most Outstanding Track
Performer honors and garnered the Coaches' Award, given to the student-athlete who accumulated the most points

ROBYNE JOHNSON
Robyne Johnson, the director of cross country and track & field, was head women's track & field coach at the 2011
World University Games. Since Johnson's arrival, the Terriers have claimed five America East women's track & field titles along with three cross country championships, including the title claimed by the men in 2010. In total, they have captured over 70 individual titles.
