Michael Finley broke Danny Jones' school record for career scoring in the first half of the Bad- gers' 74-67 win at home over Minnesota. Finley went on to finish his career with 2,147 points, a UW best that stood for 12 seasons.
January 3, 1953 CAN'T MISS: Ann Klapperich of the women's basketball team set the school record for field goal percentage by hitting 12 of 13 shots vs. Marquette for a percentage of 92.3.

DOMINATING PERFORMANCE: The wrestling team recorded its 26th-consecutive dual victory over Marquette, 31-12. The Badgers improved to 26-0-0 all-time versus the Golden Eagles, with the intrastate rivalry dating back to 1952.
January 15, 1967 PART OF THE PACK: Ken Bowman became the first former Badger to play in the Su- per Bowl, suiting up for the Green Bay Packers against Kansas City in Super Bowl I.
