FAU Arena, a.k.a. ("The Burrow"), opened its doors to women's basketball in 1984. Men's basketball and volleyball became FAU Arena tenants in 1988. The facility seats 3,000 and was modernized with a $10-million renovation: (2007). The facility includes renovated locker rooms, an upgraded exterior and a renovated lobby. It also has chair back seating and the instal- lation of a video scoreboard. In the summer of 2008, further renovations were put in place, including club suites to give "The Burrow" an exciting new feel.
