their highest finish since 2006. With a 4-2 record, they recorded the program's most conference wins since 1995, when the Bad- gers won the NCAA championship.

The Badgers have won seven- straight games against Border Battle rival Minnesota, their longest winning streak in the 120-game series. The Battle for Paul Bunyan's Axe is the most- played rivalry in the FBS, dating back to 1890 and has been played every year ex- cept for 1906.
