WOMEN'S BASKETBALL New head coach Bobbie Kelsey brings plenty of experience to Wis- consin, including seven trips to the NCAA Final Four. Kelsey made three Final Fours as a player and then helped lead Stanford, her alma mater, to four more as an assistant coach.

Sophomore goaltender Alex Rigsby ranks second in the nation with 561:23 minutes played this season. Rigsby has started all 10 games for the Badgers, including play- ing all of the past eight games.

CROSS COUNTRY With an impressive 17-point performance,
the Badgers claimed a 13th-consecutive Big Ten team championship on Sunday. Since the late Dan McClimon won his first Big Ten title as UW head coach in 1977, the Bad- gers have claimed 30 of the last 35 Big Ten championships — a clip of 85.7 percent.

The Badgers are 15-2 in regular-season games played after Nov. 1 in
head coach Bret Bielema's six seasons. UW has four Big Ten conference games remain- ing, a run that begins Saturday vs. Purdue at Camp Randall Stadium.
