That's why the South Bend Executive MBA program changed its international immersion to include consultative "action learning"—hands-on experiences with current business problems. Students choose from among a dozen business projects, each of which requires them to bring the full force of their experience and learning to bear. Piloted in 2011 with projects in South America, the program eventually will offer opportunities to engage with businesses around the world. 14
