Fox, the 2014 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year, was fifth in the league in assists, while Wilson was third in putouts. • In the outfield, Katiyana Mauga, the 2014 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, will be back for her sophomore campaign after leading the Pac-12 in slugging percentage (.877). Mauga, who settled into right field after some time as a designated and a pinch hitter as well as at third base, will be joined by established senior left-fielder Chelsea Suitos. • Offensively, the Cats return all of their leading batting power, as Mauga, Wilson, Goodacre and Fox were No. 1-4, respectively, in the Pac-12 in slugging percentage. The quartet will more than make up for the absence of last year's batting leader, Kelsey Rodriguez. • Arizona's main concern will be on the mound, as the Cats lost their top three starting pitchers. Junior Nancy Bowling, who had 20 appearances with nine starts, will anchor a young pitching squad that features sophomore Michelle Floyd (9 app/6 starts) and true freshman Trish Parks.
