JENN TOWNSEND Academic Advisor
Jenn Townsend is in her third season as an academic advisor at Carolina, currently working with the men's basketball, softball and men's tennis teams. Townsend previously spent three years at the University of Minnesota,
where she was an academic counselor for the men's and women's basketball and softball squads. Prior to her stint with the Golden Gophers,
she worked for nearly four years at Indiana University, where she was an academic advisor for the men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, baseball and field hockey teams. She also spent one year as a high school social studies teacher in Ann Arbor, Mich. A 1998 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Townsend earned an M.A. from the University of Michigan in 2000. She is a native of Saginaw, Mich.
