The Big Ten just got B1Gger
SATURDAY • 7 PM • ABC
The Badgers will officially welcome Nebraska to the Big Ten Saturday night when the Cornhuskers travel to Camp Randall Stadium. “The Camp” will be jumping with excitement, as two top-10 teams square off in Madison for the first time since 1962. UW is ranked seventh in the Associated Press Top 25, while the Huskers are eighth.

Pac the Mac, part III

The third-annual Pac the Mac event features two Big Ten matchups, as the women’s soccer team opens the day with Ohio State followed by the men’s team’s game against Indiana. The women’s game will be aired live on the Big Ten Network. The single-admission doubleheader will be played at the McClimon Soccer Complex.

Hitting the road
SUNDAY • 5 PM • BTN
Volleyball continues Big Ten play on the road for the first time this weekend, with matches against two ranked teams. Sunday’s match against No. 24 Ohio State will appear on the Big Ten Network, and Friday’s contest against No. 5 Penn State will be available on InsideBadgerSports.com. UW has  four straight games against Big Ten opponents on the road.

Can Corso make it two straight?
SATURDAY • 8 AM • ESPNU / ESPN
ESPN College GameDay returns to Madison for the second-straight year for UW’s matchup against Nebraska. The popular pregame show begins at 8 a.m. on Bascom Hill. Analyst Lee Corso will close the show at 11 a.m. by donning the mascot headgear of the team he thinks will win. He correctly predicted a UW victory over Ohio State last year.

Sharpen those skates!

The men’s hockey team hits the ice for the first time as a team Saturday in McFarland, Wis., and has just six days to prepare for its first game of the season Oct. 7 against Northern Michigan. Junior defenseman Justin Schultz returns after leading the Badgers in scoring as a sophomore and topping the nation’s defensemen in points.
