Eastlands has the following categories in terms of age: 12, 14, and 18. The team was presented with a new jersey by Zambia Rush through a pass back program. The team has over thirty children in each age category and twenty girls in two categories (14 and 18). Said Muzo' Kebby, "The team is mo vated to have a new set of jersey's. We are focused on winning promo on to the third division." Eastland has been leading the pack in the Livingstone Amateur league. As the network is growing of Rush teams, we are looking at organizing a Rush Soccer Zambia tournament annually. The Copperbelt Amateur Football Associa on has over four hundred teams on the Copperbelt province (state) coming from the twelve districts. The districts have eighteen teams each of under 12, 14 and 18 while the provincial leagues are zoned into two areas of twenty teams while the provincial premier league is the highest level. Rush shall host the Copperbelt Under 18 tournament in Chililabombwe. Fi een teams shall qualify from the twelve districts and the provincial zones. It is the first me that the provincial Youth Tournament is held in Chililabombwe and Rush Zambia Malalo Sports team outreach manager Able Chewe stressed the importance of higher levels of organiza on in terms of resource mobiliza on (balls, jerseys…) and corporate governance. The event shall a ract scouts from the Football Associa on organized leagues. 'It is key that all stakeholders are involved making sure that the tournament becomes a success," said Chewe. Jeff Schield is the new Director of Coaching and leaves the states to join the grow- ing structure of Bahamas youth soccer and Rush soccer nation. yESI RUSH BAHAMAS For more information about YESI Bahamas Rush: www,yesirushbahamas.rushsoccer.com Jeff Schield has recently become the new Director of Coaching for Yesi Rush Bahamas. He comes from the Midwest (Chicago) where he is deeply ed into the soccer culture. His focus will help to improve the overall educa on of coaching with the current Rush club and hope to make an impact with the educa on of soccer within the country of Bahamas. Jeff already at a young age has been through a lot of experiences, from running camps, coaching and playing at the semi-pro level as well as coaching college and youth. He also is a published author as he has contributed to the NSCAA journal. Jeff came to the Bahamas not knowing what to expect. He was coming to a new country, not sure of the quality of skill with coaching and kids ability to play. Jeff has been here for three weeks now and already has seen endless possibili es with the growth of this club. He was shocked when he first saw our u12's play. Their ability to move the ball around the field with control was jaw dropping. Jeff has been even more impressed with the culture of the kids and their apprecia on. "I've never seen so many kids at one me so grateful for what we've done for them." YESI RUSH has built a soccer complex, provided jerseys and taught the kids discipline through soccer which has provided them an opportunity to grow as refined men and woman in society.
