• The Academic Support Program assists Tar Heel student-athletes in exploring their interests and abilities, enjoying a broad educational experience and reaching their academic goals. • An emphasis is placed on freshmen transistioning from high school to college through a variety of academic programs such as academic counseling, individual tutoring, group review sessions and supplemental instructioin. • Housed in the new Loudermilk Center for Excellence, the Academic Support Program serves approximately 800 student-athletes.
