The National W Club held a reunion for the 1990 NCAA champion men’s hockey team last fall.
The National W Club is the nation’s largest letterwinners organization with 2,200 active, dues-paying members. In the spirit of “Where Are They Now?” here’s a look at the W Club, By The Numbers:

The National W Club hosts four “Celebrate the Legacy” reunions each fall to welcome letterwinners back to campus. This year, men’s crew (Sept. 1), football (Sept. 10), women’s tennis (Sept. 23-24) and men’s golf (Oct. 14-15) will all be invited back to Madison.
All-time, a total of 11,100 student-

The number of living letterwin- ners stands at 8,600 (in-
cluding 2,400 that currently live in the state of Wisconsin).
The W Club sponsors 10 events each year for current UW stu- dent-athletes, ranging from the Buckingham Awards show and
letter jacket presentations to the Diversity BBQ and Career Night.

The W Club organizes and hosts around 25 former letterwinner events each year in the state of Wisconsin. These events include
golf outings, banquets, reunions and alumni weekends.
