COMMENCEMENT
COMEBACK
For the first time in 24 years, the commencement ceremony for UW graduates
returns to Camp Randall Stadium this Saturday. Preparations have included
the covering of the turf inside the stadium and placement of 5,400 chairs
for graduates on the field. Staff are planning for as many as 50,000 people to
attend the ceremony, which was last held inside Camp Randall in 1990.
Commencement has been most recently spread across four separate
ceremonies over two days inside the Kohl Center.
