In 2013, Terrier athletes earned six All-America selections, including three by Katie Matthews. Eight different Terriers competed at an NCAA meet in 2013, spanning sprint, mid-distance, distance and field events. While unable to compete in a conference championship in 2013, BU made an immediate impact in its first season at the Patriot League Championships. The women's team won its 13th conference crown by a margin of 80 points thanks to victories in seven different events and the men's team posted three first-place finishes, including two by Rich Peters, who was named Male Track Athlete of the Meet. The Terriers have also set 15 different school records since 2011. LATEST NEWS Katie Matthews was named the BU Woman of the Year at the 2013 Student-Athlete Awards Banquet.
