At Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU, so are our doctors. It's that curiosity that led Dr. Chad Dillard and his team to develop a comprehensive concussion clinic — and for VCU to receive a $62 million federal grant to oversee a national research study on brain injury and concussion. Orion suffered a concussion during football practice, but by following a plan of physical therapy, cognitive rest and regular clinic visits, he was back in game-shape in time for baseball tryouts.
