2014 Illinois State Baseball • 43 MEDIA INFORMATION Athletics Media Relations The Illinois State Athletics Communications Office is located on the second level of Horton Field House, Room 203. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. After hours inquiries should be directed to Athletic Communications contact Ronan O'Shea via e-mail or telephone. Game-Day Services Media personnel covering Illinois State baseball at Duffy Bass Field are provided game programs, media guides, pregame notes and statistics. Complete scoring summaries and final box scores are distributed to each assigned location in the press box and during postgame interview sessions with coaches and players. Players and coaches will be available for interviews throughout the week and at the conclusion of all games. In most situations, the most convenient opportunity for media interviews is following the team practice sessions. If this is not a convenient time for the media, return telephone calls from the student-athletes to the media will be arranged. Interviews on game days will be held approximately 10 minutes after the last game. There will be no interviews between games of doubleheaders. Media Credentials Credentials can be obtained by contacting Ronan O'Shea of the Athletics Communications Office by phone, mail or e-mail. Requests must be made three days prior to the game, and passes that are not mailed out will be available at the Duffy Bass Field press box on game day. Visiting Radio The official radio station of the visiting team is offered origination space. The phone lines are available at no charge; however, the station should contact Ronan O'Shea of the Athletics Communications Office at least one week prior to the day of broadcast to make arrangements. Professional Scouts Professional scouts should contact Ronan O'Shea in the Athletics Communications Office to obtain a credential for scouting purposes. The scouts will only be allowed in the press box prior to the game to collect game releases and statistical information. E-mail Services Press releases, game notes and advisories are e-mailed to members of the media who cover the Redbirds on a regular basis. Media wishing to be added to the list should contact Ronan O'Shea at rjoshea@ilstu.edu. Redbirds on the Radio All 56 regular-season Illinois State games can be heard live on GoRedbirds.com and WJBC.com via the Illinois State Redbird Radio Network.
