DONNIE MARBUT Career Record: 261-247 (9 years) Record at WSU: 261-247 (9 years) • Has produced 23 MLB Draft picks in the last six years, during which WSU has averaged 29.8 wins per season. • Led Washington State to five-straight winning seasons (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010). • In 2010, guided WSU to 37 wins, the most by a Cougar team since the 1991 season. • Named head coach of the Cougars after spending the 2004 season as an assistant at Washington State. • Prior to joining the WSU staff, spent four seasons as head coach at Edmonds Community College. He earned NWAACC Coach of the Year honors in 2002 and 2003, and North Division Coach of the Year honors in 2000, 2001 and 2003. • Marbut's 2003 squad racked up a league- record 43 wins. • Played at Portland State University, where he was named the Vikings' Most Offensive Player and an All-Pac-10 North infielder for the 1996 season.
