JOHN SAVAGE Career Record: 412-308-1 (12 years)) Record at UCLA: 324-224 (9 years) • Guided UCLA to it's first-ever College World Series title in its third College World Series appearance in four seasons. • UCLA's all-time leader in postseason wins with 27 after going 10-0 in the postseason in 2013. • One of eight head coaches in NCAA history to have led his team to a College World Series, produced a No. 1 overall draft pick and coached a Golden Spikes Award winner. • Has seen 65 of his players selected in the MLB Draft in the last seven seasons. • In 2008, led the Bruins to the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season, marking the first time UCLA has earned three-straight postseason berths. • In 2004, led UC Irvine to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance, compiling a 34-23-1 record that year. • Relaunched the UC Irvine program in 2001 and spent the entire season recruiting and building the foundation for the program, which began play in 2002.
