TIM ESMAY Career Record: 381-305-2 (12 years) Record at Arizona State: 168-70-1 (4 years) • Became the second-fastest coach in ASU history to reach 100 wins after passing the century mark in an 11-2 victory over USC on Feb. 26, 2012. • A former Sun Devil infielder who hit .305 with 23 doubles in two seasons, enters his third season as head coach and 10th overall season. • Guided ASU to back-to-back appearances in the College World Series in his first two years with the program (2009, 2010). • Was the head coach at the University of Utah for eight seasons, compiling an overall record of 213-235-1. • In 1997, his team won the Western Athletics Conference title and was named the WAC Coach of the Year and Louisville Slugger Coach of the Year. • Over his playing and coaching careers, Esmay has been a part of seven teams that have played in the NCAA College World Series (1987, 1988, 1994, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010). • Member of the 1987 All-West Region team.
