gled the last two games.
"We've got to get more consistent," UW head coach Bobbie Kelsey said. "We definitely
do but we're working on it. I
think we've got to get them
playing well at the same time."
UW is 0-5 with two players
in double digits, 5-3 with three
players over 10 points, and
4-0 with four or more players
scoring in double figures.
JOHNSON HITS 32 AT NORTHWESTERN
● Johnson's career-high 32 points at
Northwestern on Saturday were the
most points for a Badger this season.
It was also a career best for the transfer, improving upon her previous best
of 25 points at Washington on Dec. 13.
The 6-foot-3 post was 13 of 18
(72.2 percent) from the field and 6 of
6 from the line. She also shared gamehigh honors with 10 rebounds, recording the fifth double-double of the
year and of her career.
BIG TEN BATTLE
●The Badgers are currently tied for
seventh in the Big Ten standings at
2-3. The conference race has been a
battle with every team losing at least
one game and and every team winning at least one game.
Previously undefeated Michigan
State lost its first Big Ten contest of
the season to Penn State on Sunday
while Illinois, which had not won
a conference game yet this season,
edged Northwestern on Jan. 15.
Wisconsin needs only one more Big
Ten victory to equal last season's conference win total. UW was 3-13 in Big
Ten play last season, losing its first
five games.
