went 4-0-2 on the road trip
and earned two wins against

Wisconsin enters the home series riding a 12-game unbeaten streak after tying Minnesota Duluth 2-2 last Friday
before besting the Bulldogs on Saturday
1-0. The unbeaten streak is the nation's
longest and UW's best streak since the
2011-12 season. During its unbeaten
streak, Wisconsin has allowed an average of 0.9 goals per game while scoring
3.3 per game.
The Badgers also boast a 12-game
winning streak at home, which is three
shy of the school record of 15 set during
the 2006-07 season.
Many players, including freshman Sarah Nurse, are excited to return to LaBahn
after the long road trip.
"We are all excited to get back to LaBahn and play in front of our fans," Nurse
said. "Bemidji State is a hard working
team, and we will have a tough series
against them."
Following this weekend's series, Wisconsin has a month off before traveling
to St. Cloud State on Jan. 3 and 4. Johnson
wants the Badgers to end the calendar
year on a high note.
"This is the first half of the season," he
said. "You want to finish it off on a positive note, let the kids take finals, get a
chance to go back home, enjoy some holiday time with their families, and then
come back and get ready for the second
half.
"Depending how the weekend goes,
it's been a good first half to this point."
