North Dakota. Both teams are
coming off of wins against
ranked foes, as Wisconsin defeated then-No. 8 Boston University, 5-0, in Vail, Colo. last
Saturday, while North Dakota
ended No. 1 Minnesota's 62game winning streak on Sunday with a 3-2 win in Minneapolis.

league," junior Brittany Ammerman said.
"It is going to be a couple of good games.
Obviously, they were good enough to
beat Minnesota, and I think it is going to
be competitive series."
Fellow junior and linemate Blayre
Turnbull echoes Ammerman's thoughts
on UND.
"We know they are going to be a strong
team, as they beat Minnesota, who had a
62 game winning streak," Turnbull said.
"They will be excited about that coming
into the games against us. We know how
important it is to come out fast because
they will be as fast as us."
The game pits one of the nation's
most explosive offenses against on of the
country's best defenses. UND ranks third
in scoring averaging 3.92 goals per game,
while the Badgers allow an average of
1.08 goals per contest, the second-best
mark nationally.
Wisconsin's offense has also been stellar this year, as its 3.58 goals per game
ranks sixth. The offense has been balanced, as last weekend the Badgers had
a different player score each of its eight
goals, including freshman Jenny Ryan,
who netted her first collegiate goal in
Friday's 3-2 win over Northeastern.
"We are going to stick to our game,
and make sure that we play our style,"
Ryan said. "We know if we play our best
we can beat them. We will keep growing
from last weekend and hopefully we can
come out with a few wins this weekend."
