BUILDING A DYNASTY
Over the last four years, Boston University women's ice hockey has
established itself as one of the premier programs in the nation.
The Terriers have reached the NCAA tournament in four consecutive
seasons, becoming only the second Hockey East program to
accomplish that feat. BU has advanced to the national title game
in two of the last three seasons and is the only Hockey East team
to have ever played in an NCAA championship contest. It has also
collected the most trophies of any league school in the last four
years, having won three Hockey East tournament titles and two
regular-season crowns in that span. In addition, BU has recruited
at least one student-athlete in each of the last five seasons that
has skated for her respective national team.
