one we're looking forward to."
While Wisconsin remains
tied for fourth place in the
Big Ten standings, it needs to
keep its record over these last
matches high for NCAA tournament seeding. The top-16
teams will host first and second round matches the weekend of Dec. 5-8, something the
Badgers want to do.

HICKEY PLAYS IN FINAL HOME GAMES
● Wisconsin will honor senior Annemarie Hickey on Sunday in the team's final
regular-season home match.
The 5-8 libero will go down in the
Badger annals as one of the best defensive players in program history. Hickey
ranks third on the UW career record
list with 1,653 digs and third with 3.95
digs per set.
"I think she's absolutely one of the
best liberos in the country, not just
in our conference," said Sheffield. "I
think she's one of the best in the entire
country and there's a reason for that.
She just works really hard (and) she is
tough mentally."
CHAPMAN CLOSES IN ON 1,000
● Junior Ellen Chapman is counting down
to 1,000 career kills, needing 33 kills to
become the 20th UW player to achieve
that milestone.
The 6-4 outside hitter has tallied
double-figure kills the last 11 matches
and continues to lead the Badgers with
3.41 kills per set, which ranks ninth in
the Big Ten. Her kill per set average is
her highest season average while she is
also hitting a season best .243.
