By the 1 3 5 6 13 1,002 1:47.61 42-42-2 NUMBERS The University of Iowa soccer team tallied its first victory over Penn State in school history, downing the 16th-ranked Nittany Lions, 3-2, on Oct. 25 at the Iowa Soccer Complex.  The victory was the Hawkeyes' first over a ranked opponent since the 2008 season. The number of consecutive 10-plus win seasons for the Iowa women's soccer team, the longest such stretch in program history. Number of Player of the Week award-winners for the University of Iowa field hockey team so far during the 2013 season. Hawkeye men's golf team finished better than six teams ranked in the Golfstat.com top 50 at the U.S. Collegiate Championship from Oct. 18-20 in Atlanta. The University of Iowa is the only Big Ten Conference team — one of 13 in the country — to have appeared in the last six NCAA Women's Basketball Tournaments.   Career kills for University of Iowa junior Alex Lovell prior to the Hawkeyes' match against Northwestern on Nov. 1. The World Record time set by the UI swimming and diving team Sept. 28 at the Michigan Water Carnival in the 200 short course meters mixed-medley relay.  The quartet consisted of seniors Dustin Rhoads, Andrew Marciniak, junior Haley Gordon and sophomore Olivia Kabacinski. All-time series record between the Iowa and Wisconsin football teams prior to their No. 2 meeting inside Kinnick Stadium. It was an all-out celebration for the University of Iowa soccer team following its 3-2 victory over No. 16 Penn State on Oct. 25 at the Iowa Soccer Complex. The win was the first in program history over the Nittany Lions, the NCAA runners-up last season. 7
