already become well known
among UW fans who had gotten a glimpse during his open

up at center in 2009, Shelton did more
than just show up. He grabbed the first
of what he hopes will be many interceptions when he picked off UMass QB Mike

Clement turned what would normally

and a touchdown in the fourth quarter
on his way to 101 yards for the game.
In all, 11 players made their UW debuts against UMass.
