RUSH NEWS Welcome New Clubs Rush Soccer would like to welcome our newest clubs! Connecticut Rush, Dallas Rush, Curacao Rush, Cancun Rush and Black Pearls (Haiti) Latino America news: Merida Rush will be playing at Denver Cup. Cancun Rush on board and Lima Rush (Peru) very close to be the 6th club in South America. Exciting news about LatinoAmerica clubs as Merida Rush will travel to Denver to play at the Denver Cup the first week in August with a BU12 team. Merida have have been working very hard to make this possible and we are so proud of the efforts they have made to bring players and families to be part of this great event and learn more about the Rush philosophy and culture.Cancun Rush recently joined the Rush family and recently attended the Disney Cup in mid-July. The club was represented by a BU14 team as they wore the R for the first time in the well recognized tournament.Lastly, Afis Academy from Lima-Peru is very interested in becoming a Rush Club.The conversations started between Jair Vasquez (LatinoAmerica Technical Director) and Ivan Saavedra (Afis Technical Director) a few weeks ago. STATE CUPS GALORE! Delaware Rush took home the most State Cup Championships of any Rush club in 2012/13 as they won 11! This is the most wins by a single clubs since 2000. Congratulations to all of the State Champions and runners up and their play in Regionals! The Rush way continues to grow in the Caribbean! After starting our first club in Bahamas in January, we have now expanded to 3 other areas, with many more already in the works. We now have Rush branches in Bahamas, Haiti (Cavaly AS Rush and Black Pearls Rush) and in Curacao (CSU Rush). "I am very excited about the growth we have seen, the word is really getting out and we are truly able to help these communities and players reach their soccer goals," said Brian Lux, Caribbean Technical Director. "We already have contacts with Aruba, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Maarten and Bonaire, so we will keep pushing and expanding!" Long term goals include a vast player exchange program and eventually hosting a Caribbean Rush Club Championship.
