The Badgers' official Facebook page
(Facebook.com/WisconsinBadgers) topped 500,000
fans this week, making UW one of just eight NCAA
programs nationally to boast more than a
half-million fans on Facebook.
Of the 41 players invited to take part in the Women's National Team
Selection Camp being staged by USA Hockey this week, nine are
current or former members of the UW women's hockey program.
That includes the Badgers' last three Patty Kazmaier Award winners,
Brianna Decker, Meghan Duggan and Jessie Vetter.

Ed Nuttycombe is leaving a big hat to fill. The man in the
trademark Tilley hat retired last Friday after completing
his 30th season as head coach of the Wisconsin men's track
and field program. Over those three decades, Nuttycombe's
teams collected 26 Big Ten titles ― the most championships won by any coach in any sport in conference history.
